The rights are in the form of a screen play and studio developments, copy writes to the published work Life After Heaven and the completed but unpublished manuscript, Horizontal Heaven, and the completed documentary film A Death Worth Living For. Those rights also include any future developments using the IP. Television Series and marketing/branding public presentations, textbooks and study guides.
Our team has presented our life story to the highest levels of the film industry. All film companies are divided into two divisions creative and then business. We have been well received by the creative sides of the organizations named below. At the highest level of the business divisions, we ran into roadblocks. The business divisions have not felt our story would make sufficient money to warrant engagement compared with other film property they are considering. They also want control of all of the IP forever. We need to raise our own capital to produce our film. My team has 25 years of track record in both the film and television business. It is important to retain the creative rights to our story. We are not encouraged to sell the story for money to the film industry. In order of engagement, we have negotiated with Netflix (2019), Universal Studios (2020), Lionsgate (2020), SONY (2022), and Angel Studios (2025.)
Our business is a straight forward pass through LLC. We have flexibility to accept both private and also non-profit capital contributions. We will adjust our structure to fit our investor groups. Capital invested receives first dollars of net revenue generated until 200% of original capital is earned. After that milestone investors receive a 20% royalty of net revenues paid quarterly in perpetuity One of our organizational values is integrity. We demonstrate this value through transparency. Our investor team will receive confidential access to all of our books and records. We will publish quarterly statements on the progress of our business.
The 12 million invested will be allocated to fund three elements. The Film budget is currently Top Sheeted at 9.2 million and will take 18 months to complete and distribute theatrically. The streaming cash flow will likely be meaningful for 4 to 5 years. We have a marketing budget of 1.8 million for the feature film. We will be marketing 18 months before the film is released in theaters. Elaine and Steve are central to the marketing efforts. We will be on payroll as a part of the marketing presentation team. The marketing division will also be revenue generating, and those profits are part of the ROI to investors. The owners of the IP will receive 1 million for the IP rights.
